Erik Terrell is a big kid with a big heart. Supporting his Fantasy Football addiction and his loving new wife, Erik headlines Comedy venues along the East Coast and works regularly at various New York and Los Angeles Comedy Clubs including Carolines on Broadway, Gotham Comedy Club, the Laugh Factory, the Stand, and New York Comedy Club to name a few. Erik was named one of Comedy Central’s “Comics to Watch” at the New York Comedy Festival in 2019.

Erik was President of the “Hampton Players” drama organization in college. After giving Stand-Up a shot on summer vacation after his sophomore year at Hampton University in 2011, Erik quickly adopted a new identity as not only actor, but Stand-Up Comedian. In college, Erik hosted and performed on most of Hampton University’s Homecoming and Spring Fest Comedy shows. After graduating from Hampton in 2013, he returned home to Philadelphia where he was soon picked up by Helium Comedy Club where he opened for Dick Gregory, Sam Morril, Dov Davidoff, Godfrey, Mark Normand, etc. He soon began headlining local shows and bussing himself back and forth to NYC to “stomp with the big dogs.”

Erik’s top prize winning performance at the Conshy Comedy Fest in 2017 was instrumental in fueling a series of fortune for his Stand-Up career. In 2018, Erik gave an opening performance for NBC’s National Dog Show in Philadelphia, and he produced and headlined his own show, “Officially Overseas”, at the Glasgow International Comedy Festival. He’s been featured at over fifteen mainstream Comedy Festivals including the Glasgow International Comedy Festival, New York Comedy Festival, Burbank Comedy Festival, Oak City Comedy Festival, Asheville Comedy Festival and the North Carolina Comedy Festival. He filmed for Comedy Time TV in LA, and Carolines on Broadway featured Erik on “Carolines Presents”, showcasing him as one of New York’s best breakout comics.
